Storage Jar Turtle

This storage jar is decorated with a cute image of a blue turtle and goes with other items in the Creatures kitchenware range. The decoration is hand applied by skilled craftspeople in a family run Italian factory, by using a combination of sponging and reactive glazes. Due to the methods used each piece is unique.

BlissHome came across this small, family run factory on their travels around Europe and were inspired by the talented artisans producing such depth and subtlety through simple creative processes. Vibrant animal graphics have been skilfully hand applied to large bowls and platters using special techniques passed down through the generations of this family of craftspeople.
