Extra Large Oval Platter

This extra large oval platter features the handmade artwork of a stunning exotic fish based on an original piece from Louis Renard’s 1719 publication, “Poissons, écrevisses et crabes…”. The design has been reproduced in glazes on the earthenware platter by a team of artisans in Italy, using sponges, brushes and pipettes to create the multi-layer motif.

The oval platter, as well as making a striking centrepiece or piece of wall decor, is made from durable earthenware clay and is foodsafe, perfect for serving at your next dinner party. The platter and artwork are all handmade in a small, family-owned factory in Italy, so your platter will be one-of-a-kind.

To get the most from your serving dish, we recommend gentle hand washing - please do not use the serving dish in the dishwasher or microwave. Each piece in the collection of Fantastic Fish serveware is unique, thanks to the handmade process, and is guaranteed to break the ice at your next dinner party.
