This fabulous mug has a printed design on it taken from an old London Transport poster. Big enough for a good sized cuppa but not so big you could take a swim in it. A pleasure to drink from and a pleasure to look at.

1925 - Mary Koop.

Mary Koop studied at the Croydon School of Art and the London School of Art. She exhibited three times at the Royal Academy and designed only one poster for the Underground Group in 1925. It is similar in style and typographical treatment to a series of posters of similar vintage by Horace Taylor.
