Throughout the first half of the 20th Century London Transport was in its heyday and, during the 1930s, it became an important patron of the arts. Famous artists such as Man Ray designed posters, Harry Beck produced the now-iconic Underground map and the poet John Betjeman wrote tourism leaflets. This collection draws on and celebrates the rich visual archive of this period, applying evocative designs to quality stationery, a beautiful porcelain tea set, espresso cups, mugs and even the humble tea-towel, all created with the kind permission of Transport for London.
