This fabulous Summer Sales mug has a printed design on it taken from an old London Transport poster by Mary Koop.

1925 - Mary Koop.

Mary Koop studied at the Croydon School of Art and the London School of Art. She exhibited three times at the Royal Academy and designed only one poster for the Underground Group in 1925. It is similar in style and typographical treatment to a series of posters of similar vintage by Horace Taylor.
